Forester 2019-20 Season Summary
   The Foresters had 14 wins (47% wins) at the end of the 2019-20 season, averaging 78.2 points a game.  Their high game was 119 points versus Siena Heights (Jan 2).  They allowed 79.2 points a game, for an average scoring margin of -1.0 points.  Their average margin in the first half was -2.2, and in the second half it was +1.6.
   HU scored on 49.7% of their possessions, averaging 1.088 points per offensive possession and allowing their opponents 1.101 points per possession.  In Crossroads League games, the Foresters produced 1.059 points per possession while allowing their opponents 1.173 points per possession.   
   Huntington provided 14.7 assists per game with an assist/turnover ratio of 1.267 overall (1.143 in League games).  The team provided assists on 41.1% of their scoring possessions and 51.1% of their field goals.  They experienced turnovers on 16.1% of their possessions this season.
   HU pulled down 33.9 rebounds per game and had a rebound margin of -3.4 per game.  Their offensive rebounding efficiency was 23.7%, while their defensive rebounding efficiency was 69.8% (expressed as percent of total opportunity).   
   Caleb Middlesworth led the team in scoring with 19.3 points a game.  Konner Platt was second on the list with 18.9 points a game.  Peyton West was third in scoring with 13.0 points a game.
   Many contributed to the team's results:  25 points or more were scored in a game 11 times by 2 different players; 20 points or more were scored 38 times by 6 different players; 15 points or more were scored in a game 62 times by 6 different players; 10 points or more were scored 103 times by 10 different players.

   This past season, the Foresters shot 47.4% from the field overall, including 39.2% from beyond the arc.  In addition, they were successful on 75.9% of their free throws.  They held their opponents to 44.7% from the field overall, including 38.4% from three-point range.
   In Crossroads League games, HU shot 46.6% from the field, including 37.9% from beyond the arc, while making 73.3% of their free throws.  However, their opponents shot 47.0% from the field overall, including 40.5% from three-point range.   
   Spencer Ballinger was the field goal percentage leader, shooting 50.0% from the field.  Klajd Kiri was second in field goal percentage making 49.5% of his shots.  Caleb Middlesworth was third, putting in 49.4% of his field goal attempts.  (A minimum of 2 attempts-per-game average to qualify.)
   From beyond the arc, Lewis Wang led the team shooting 46.0% from downtown.  Peyton West was second from long range, making 42.9% of the shots.  Caleb Middlesworth was third, putting in 40.3% of the three-point attempts.  (A minimum of 1 attempt-per-game average to qualify.)
   At the line, Konner Platt had the best percentage, sinking 82.6% of attempts.  Peyton West had the next best percentage at the stripe, making 81.7%.  Spencer Ballinger had the third best percentage, putting in 80.0% of his free throws.  (A minimum of 1 attempt-per-game average to qualify.)
   Rebounding was led by Peyton West, pulling down 6.7 per game.  Spencer Ballinger was second, gathering 4.9 per game.  Caleb Middlesworth was third in rebounding, getting 4.9 per game.
   The assist leader was Peyton West, handing out 4.0 assists per game.  Konner Platt was second in assists, providing 2.7 a game.  Third, Hank Pulver is dished out 2.4 per game.
   Klajd Kiri had 37 blocks in 29 games this season to lead the team in that category.  Hank Pulver had 19 blocks this past season.  Peyton West led the team in steals with 32 in 19 games.
   Caleb Middlesworth led in double-doubles with 3 posted in 28 games.  In addition, Peyton West had 2 double-doubles this past season.  And Spencer Ballinger and Konner Platt had 1 double-double.
   The Foresters had 2 active players in the HU 1,000 Point Club.  Konner Platt scored 1,854 points in his HU career and now ranks #10 in the HU 1,000 Point Club.  Caleb Middlesworth has put in 1,024 points in just two seasons and ranks #45 in the 1,000 Point Club..    
   Coach Ty Platt completed his 12th Season.  His overall record is 202-172 (54.0% wins).  His teams are now 90-120 (42.9% wins) in regular season League games, and 3-11 (21.4% wins) in post-season play.
   Huntington's Strength of Schedule ranked #2 in the Crossroads League.  The average win ratio of HU's non-conference opponents was 0.573.  The strongest Strength of Schedule in the Crossroads League was 0.574 (St Francis), while the weakest was 0.514 (Grace).
