   The Foresters ended their 2008-09 season with 20 wins, averaging 86.2 points a game.  Their high game was 121 points versus Ohio State-Mansfield.  They allowed 77.8 points a game, so their average scoring margin was +8.4 points a game.
   They averaged 1.09 points per offensive possession (1.04 in the MCC) and allowed 0.99 points per possession to opponents (1.04 in the MCC).  That ranked # 1 and # 9 among the 9 MCC teams.  They provided assists on 61% of their field goals.
   Huntington was # 2 in the MCC in assists per game, averaging 17.8.  They had an assist per turnover ratio of 1.33.  The Foresters turned the ball over on 17% of their possessions, which was # 2 in terms of the lowest turnover percentage in the MCC.
   HU averaged 36.4 rebounds a game, with a rebound margin of +3.2 per game.  That ranked # 4 in the MCC Conference.  Their offensive rebounding efficiency was 33% and the defensive rebounding efficiency was 71% (expressed as a percent of opportunity).
   Kyle Benge led the Foresters in scoring with 18.7 points a game; Kevin Kyle finished second with 15.5 points a game; Tyler Shively was third with 14.1 points a game.
   Many contributed to the team's success this season:  25 points or more were scored in a game by 4 different players; 20 points or more were scored by 5 different players; 15 points or more were scored 74 times by 8 different players; and 10 points or more were scored 136 times by 9 different players.

   The Foresters shot 47.9% from the field this season, including 39.9% from three-point range.  They connected on 80.9% of their free throws.  They held their opponents to 47.4% from the field this season, including 38.3% from three-point range.
   Kevin Kyle was the field goal percentage leader at 52.3% (3 att/gm min).  Tyler Shively led in three-point shooting with 50.5% (2 att/gm min).  Andrew Mock had the best free throw percentage making 88.9% at the line (1 att/gm min).
   Forester rebounding was led by Kevin Kyle with 7.3 a game.  Alex Nafziger had 4.4 boards per game and Caleb Kennedy finished with 4.2 rebounds a game.
   The assist leader was Andrew Mock at 4.5 a game.  Kyle Benge was second in assists with 4.4 a game and Tyler Shively was third with 2.5 assists per game.
   Kevin Kyle led the team with 7 double-doubles in 32 games.  He also led in blocked shots with 42 in 32 games.  Kellen Zawadzki had 43 steals in 32 games.
   Coach Ty Platt's Record at Huntington is now 20-12 for a 62.5% win ratio.
