End of Season Update - Mar 10, 2013
   During the 2012-13 season, the Foresters averaged 72.3 points a game.  Their high game was 104 points versus Ohio State-Newark (Dec 13).  They gave up 68.8 points a game and their average scoring margin was +3.4 points a game.
   They averaged 1.033 points per offensive possession (1.002 in CL games), while giving up 0.989 points per opponent possession (1.046 in CL games).  That ranked #4 and #9 among the ten CL teams.  The Foresters provided assists on 50.6% of their field goals (ranked #7 among the CL teams).
   Huntington ranked #6 in the CL with 12.8 assists per game.  Their assist per turnover ratio of 0.878 overall (0.861 in CL games) ranked #8.  The Foresters provided assists on 18.3% of their possessions while turning the ball over on 20.9% of their possessions.
   HU averaged 33.2 rebounds a game with a rebound margin of +2.81 per game.  That ranked #5 in the Crossroads League.  Their offensive rebounding efficiency was 28.0% and their defensive rebounding efficiency was 75.4% (expressed as percent of rebounding opportunity).
   Shane Merryman led the team in scoring with 22.0 points a game; T J Short was second with 12.9 points a game; Ryan Boester was third with 10.4 points a game.
   Many contributed to the team's success:  25 points or more were scored in a game 10 times by 2 different players; 20 points or more were scored 27 times by 3 different players; 15 points or more were scored 49 times by 6 different players; and 10 points or more scored 107 times by 8 different players.

   The Foresters shot 48.4% from the field, including 37.4% from beyond the arc, and connected on 70.9% of their free throws which ranked #6 among CL teams.  They held their opponents to 46.0% from the field overall (38.0% from three-point range).
   In Crossroads League games, HU shot 44.8% from the field, including 37.8% from long range.  They made 71.9% of their free throws (#6 among CL teams).  They held their CL opponents to 47.7% from the field, but allowed 42.1% beyond the arc.
   Shane Merryman was the field goal percentage leader at 61.8% (2 FGA/Gm minimum).  Shane Merryman and Ryan Boester led in three-point shooting making 42.9% (1 3PA/Gm minimum).  T J Short had the best free throw percentage, connecting on 83.6% at the line (1 FTA/Gm minimum).
   Forester rebounding was led by Shane Merryman with 6.3 per game.  Alec Peterson had 6.0 boards a contest; T J Short averaged 4.2 rebounds.
   The assist leader was Ryan Boester with 3.04 per game.  Stephen Jones was second in assists with 2.97 a game, and Shane Merryman was third with 2.45 assists per game.
   Shane Merryman and Alec Peterson led with 3 double doubles  Alec Peterson had 49 blocks in 32 games.  T J Short led in steals with 38 this season.
   Coach Ty Platt's Record at HU is now 91-66 (58.0% wins) overall, and 40-51 (44.0%) versus CL teams.
