	T J Short will be a senior at HU for the 2013-14 season.  Last season, T J scored 400 points, boosting his career total to 666.  If he can repeat last year's scoring average, he'll join the HU 1,000 Point Club.  Last season, Short average 12.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 steals a game.  He had 4 games of 20+ points, with a high game of 29 points at Great Lakes Christian.  T J put in 83.6% of his free throws (#4 in the CL) and made 38.1% of his three-point attempts. As a senior at Antwerp High School (OH), he was the Van Wert Area leading scorer, averaging 19.5 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.  Short was named to the All-Conference, All District 7 and All Northwest District First Teams, and was named to the Ohio All-State Third Team.  Short scored over 20 points in 11 different games.

		Short was named All-Conference and All District 7 each of the past two years.  As a junior he was named MVP, Paulding County Player of the Year and AP Northwest All-District Second Team, with Honorable Mention at the All-State level.  He is a two-time Ohio HS Basketball Coaches Association Top 100.  Last season, Short averaged 17.4 points a game as the Archers went 16-5 (5-2 in the Green Meadows Conference).  This season, the Archers finished 18-4 (7-0 in their Conference), losing by one point in the Sectional Finals.  T J led the team in scoring, rebounds, and assists.  His career stats at Antwerp High School are impressive.  Over his four-year career T J shot over 54% from the field, including 34% from three-point range, and shot in 78% at the free throw line.  His career stats include an average of 6.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
