  Ryan Boester will be in his junior year for the 2012-13 season.  After two years, Ryan has scored 558 points, including 321 from three-point range.  He's snagged 194 rebounds, provided 185 assists and made 57 steals.  Last year, he averaged 10.4 points, 3.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game, while shooting 42.9% from long range and 79.2% at the line.  He had high games of 21 points vs Akron Wayne (all treys) and 7 rebounds vs Bethel.

In his final season at DeKalb High School (Waterloo, IN), he averaged 13.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists, scoring 26 points for the Barons in one game.  The previous season, he connected on six three-pointers in the Sectional as the Barons upset Carroll.  Boester holds two basketball records at DeKalb: Most Consecutive Free Throws (29) and best All-Time Season Free Throw Percentage (93.5%).

  Ryan Boester During his HS career, Ryan put in 137 three-point shots and went 30 consecutive games with a three-point field goal.  Ryan was a three-time All Northeast Hoosier Conference selection.  He was named to the KPC Media Group All-Area Team two years running, and was included in Hoosier Basketball Magazine's Top 100 as a senior.

In addition to basketball, Boester was also leader of the DeKalb Golf Team, winning several matches and finishing second in the East Noble Invitational with a 73.  His 18-hole average in the spring of 2011 was 74.9, shooting a 74 at the IHSAA Boys Golf Sectional.  He also played football in previous seasons at DeKalb.
