  Luke Smith was an important contributor to the success of the Foresters during his career.  As a senior, Luke averaged 13.6 points, while shooting 41.0% from the field, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals per game.  He ranked in the top twenty in the MCC Conference in three-point shooting percentage (36.5%), points per game, turnovers per game (2.2), and free throw percentage (79.7%).  In his final season, he had 24 games of 10 points or more and 7 games of 20 points or more, receiving All-MCC Conference Honorable Mention.

Smith joined HU's 1,000 Point Club his final year, scoring 409 points as a senior and 1,174 points over his four-year career.  As a senior he had high games of 25 points versus Lindenwood, 9 rebounds versus Spring Arbor, and 7 assists at Northwestern Ohio.  As a junior, Luke averaged 11.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists a game, and 0.8 steals a game, with game highs of 22 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals.

  Luke Smith As a four-year varsity player at Rochester High School, Luke averaged 21.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.6 steals a game his senior year.  He was both the scoring and three-point field goal percentage leader in the Three Rivers Conference; at the IHSAA level, he was #14 in scoring and #12 in assists.  Luke broke the RHS career scoring mark, ending his high school career with 1,166 points.

Smith was named First Team All-Conference two years and was an Indiana Junior All-Star selection.  He was also named to the All-Sectional team three years in a row and the Indiana Elite AAU Team.  He also received High Honorable Mention in All-State voting and participated in the Top 40 Workout.

Smith was an outstanding student, named Academic All-Conference two years at Rochester HS.  He graduated from Huntington University with a major in business digital media arts.
