  Kyle Pipenger returns for his sophomore year and the 2014-15 season.  As a freshman, Kyle played in 30 games, scoring 48 points, pulling in 34 rebounds, handing out 18 assists and posting 8 steals.  Last season, he shot 41.7% from the field and 85.0% (17 of 20) at the line.

Kyle graduated from Tri-Village High School (Ohio) where he averaged 21.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game and ended as the second highest scorer in school history with 1,377 points.  As a senior, he set new school records for the most field goals in a season (202) and the most points scored in a season (567).  His name appears in the top ten of 11 other TVHS record categories, as well.

  Kyle Pipenger Kyle is hard to defend, can score off the dribble, and will put in open shots.  He demonstrates good basketball savy and knows control of the game.  In an interview, he said, "I used to score more, but then I started to see the whole floor.  My parents would tell me to work on my passing, and that became a more important part of my game."

Pipenger was awarded several honors at the end of his senior year.  He was named to two All-Star teams, was the Daily Advocate Player of the Year (for the second time), was named to the District Nine First Team, and was the Pal-Item Player of the Year.  Kyle earned All-Southwest District First Team, and was named to the Ohio All-State Second Team.
