In 2010-11, Kellen Zawadzki scored 684 points to reach 1,707 points for his HU career (#14 on HU's all-time scoring list). Kellen's game highs included 34 points in two games (at Davenport and Indiana Wesleyan), 7 three-pointers in three games (Madonna, Missouri Valley and Bethel), 5 steals versus Ohio State-Newark, 8 assists versus Marian, and 10 rebounds in four games (Goshen, St Francis, Taylor, and Indiana Wesleyan). He averaged 22.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Zawadzki led the MCC in scoring (22.1 ppg) and had the most three-point field goals in the MCC (86) while shooting 46.7% from the field, including 36.6% from beyond the arc. Zawadzki made 243 three-pointers during his four years at HU. He had 18 games this season of 20+ points and 9 games of 30+ points, had four double doubles, and led the team with 104 assists, producing a good 1.62 assist/turnover ratio. He was named to the MCC All-Conference First Team and received NAIA Honorable Mention. |

At Tippecanoe High School (Tipp City, OH), Kellen averaged 21.1 points a game, scoring over 20 eleven times and over 30 points twice. He set a THS single game scoring mark with 39 and finished as all-time leading scorer at THS with 1,241 points. He was named to the Ohio All-State First Team in Division II, the District Nine Senior All-Star Team and Player of the Year, Dayton All-Area First Team, All-Southwest District First Team, and All-Conference First Team. As a senior, Kellen was rated as one of the top 100 seniors in Ohio (Rick Bolus player rankings for college potential). As a junior, he was named to the All Southwest District First Team, the All-Ohio Division II Third Team and FanFile Magazine Player of The Year. His grandfather, Ray Zawadzki, is an Ohio Hall-of-Fame coach. Kellen is majoring in Business at HU. |
