He shot 42.9% from long range (3 of 7) and went 100% (4 for 4) at the line last season. As a senior, he was one of three Canterbury basketball players to participate in the Nancy Rehm Border Wars Classic, along with Tyler Arrowsmith of Churubusco High School. Now Kai is returning to play in his home town and is happy about it. In June, Foday's Twitter talk included this: "I loved my time at Calvin, but in the fall I'll be following in the footsteps of my whole family to attend Huntington university." Like many Foresters, Foday participated in other sports at CHS. Kai was the back-up goalkeeper for the Canterbury High School Soccer team. The Cavaliers captured the 2011 State Title at IHSAA Boys Soccer State Finals. Kai also participates in Track & Field Team at Huntington. |
