THIRD ANNUAL DINNER

The Third Annual Meet-the-Team Night will be held Tuesday evening, October 24, at the North Star Civic Center. The address is 2824 Theatre Avenue, Huntington, IN.

Festivities begin at 6:00 PM with the social hour and some appetizers. Don't be late; this is when you actually Meet-the-Team! There will also be an outstanding selection of silent auction items available to bid on at that time; the best deals in town.

ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE

The Dinner is one of two annual fundraisers in support of the Huntington University Men's Basketball program. The other is the Golf Outing held in July.

These two events, along with corporate sponsorships and individual contributions, allow Forester fans to fill the gap between what the University budget provides and what the NAIA allows Division II schools to have in the way of basketball scholarships.

When you have student athletes the caliber of those in the Forester program, you want them to compete on a level playing field, and that's what this is all about.

LIST OF AUCTION ITEMS

The complete list of auction items is not yet known, but here's what we do know.

There will be a Yamaha U-max utility vehicle, IU Basketball tickets, Bulls, Colts and Pacer tickets, Apple Video iPod, watches, jewelry and lots more at prices that are irrelevant.

The silent auction items will include home services, financial services, gift certificates, auto services, meals, golfing, memberships, weekend getaways, collectibles, household items, sporting goods and more.
