teams. "We can score from every position and opponents won't be able to focus on just one or two players," says Ganton. There aren't too many teams that have four or more guys capable of putting up 30 points on any given night. If the Foresters continue to play unselfishly, the competition will have a lot of trouble defending this high-powered offense.

THE DEMANDING SCHEDULE

Year after year, Coach Platt not only recruits the best players, but also recruits the best teams to play against each season. "There's a core of teams that compete every year for the National Championship. We try to play as many of those teams as we can," says Platt.

The Foresters have added powerhouses Evangel and St. Ambrose to their already competitive schedule. Jared Yoder says, "We want to be ready for the tournament at the end of the year. Coach does a great job of preparing us by scheduling the best competition."

Those games, IPFW, several NAIA D1 schools and the brutal MCC conference schedule will provide a challenge for the Foresters. "We will definitely have a bull's eye on our back this year," says Alex. In fact, the Foresters were voted #1 in the MCC Coaches Preseason Poll.

So, look forward to another great year of basketball. The Forester Nation will be loud and proud all year long!
