

Chargers to their first outright Sagamore Conference championship in school history (the Conference includes 6 larger schools).

Kevin started every game the past two years. In his senior year, he averaged 20 points, 2 blocks and 11 rebounds a game, becoming the first player in school history to average a double double in points and rebounds for two consecutive years.

Kyle ended last season at #3 in the entire IHSAA in defensive rebounds (with 175), #4 in total rebounds (256) and #18 in total points scored (448). At the same time, he shot 59% from the field and over 74% at the line, made 44 steals and had 40 blocks.

Kyle had a season high of 29 points in one game last season plus two 28-point games. He also pulled in 18 rebounds in a one game and snared 15 or more rebounds in four additional games.

Kevin led his team to a 19-4 overall record, and a 6-1 record to win the Sagamore Conference. The Chargers continued right on to win their second consecutive

Sectional Championship, with Kyle getting 27 points and 11 boards in the final game.

Kevin was selected for the All-Conference First Team each of the past two years and named the Montgomery County Player of the Year both times. He was a First Team All-Area selection of the Crawfordsville Journal Review and was named their All-Area Player of the Year. He was also a top First Team selection of the Lafayette Journal Courier and their Small School Player of the Year.

Kyle participated in the annual North-South Indiana All-Star Classic as a member of the South Team. He was listed in the Top 100 Indiana players by Hoosier Basketball Magazine, and was invited to the Indiana Top 40 Workout in Indianapolis.

Kevin was a three-year letterman in tennis

and was also the starting first baseman for the Chargers the past two years. At the same time, he was an officer of the National Honor Society, an Academic All-State Honorable Mention in both tennis and basketball, and was named to the Academic All-Conference team. His field of study at Huntington University is undecided.


David Lash will be at Huntington next fall, not only as a Forester, but also as a Presidential Scholar and a Colloquium Scholar. He is from Mentone, IN.

Lash, a three-year starter at Tippecanoe Valley HS (3A), led the Vikings to a 19-5 record last season, taking the Three Rivers Conference title with their third straight undefeated season in conference play and winning the Sectional Championship.

In the last Conference game, Lash had a season high 29 points (11 of 12 from the field and 7 of 7 at the line), to go along with 12 rebounds and 4 assists.

As a senior, David averaged over 14 points and 8 rebounds a game, with 4 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal, while shooting 59% from the field, 50% beyond the arc and 65% at the line. He finished his high school career with 956 points and now holds the Viking school record for Season Field Goal Percentage.

Lash was First Team All-Conference each of the past two years, and finished #2 in the Conference in rebounding, #4 in field goal percent, #6 in assists and #7 in scoring. David was listed in the Top 100 players in Indiana by Hoosier Basketball Magazine, and was ranked #50 in Indiana by the Rick Bolus Recruiting Service.

Lash was Winning Edge Holiday Tourney MVP, was an All-Tourney Team selection three years, played in the Border Wars All-Stars Classic, received All-Northeast Indiana Honorable Mention, and was the Warsaw Times-Union All-Area Player of the Year.

and graduated Salutatorian from Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy with an Honors Diploma. He plans to major in business at Huntington University.
