  Bethel was 33-4 overall last season; 11 players returned for this season.  The Pilots shared the MCC Conference Title with a 13-3 record; they won the MCC Tournament Championship over Indiana Wesleyan.  Bethel was 3-1 at the 2009 NAIA National Tournament.

The MCC Coaches poll predicted a first place finish for Bethel in the MCC again this year.

Coach Mike Lightfoot begins his 23rd season as Head Coach.
